Supporters of the Memorial can also create a Friend account to register Servicewomen, donate and stay in touch with the Memorial. Your account information is protected and can only be accessed by MWM staff members with a need to know. It is not released to third parties without the express permission of the individual. The Military Women's Memorial collects, preserves, documents and educates the public on the rich and complex history of women's military service to the nation. We examine and interpret their diverse, and arguably controversial, stories to understand the entirety of our past as a means of shaping the future.
